The room is named after Australasia's longest horse race - the 6400 metre-long Great Northern Steeplechase - which was previously held at Ellerslie each year.
With the ability for complete blackout, this room is ideal for seminars, AGMs and conferences – or any event where professional presentations are required.
The Great Northern Room also has private bar facilities, so is a great option for breakfasts, luncheons and dinners, or pre-dinner drinks before a function in the Newmarket Room just down the escalator.
