We're on the hunt for a superstar Account Manager to join us here at Ellerslie Event Centre to help deliver the thrill of events to our audiences.

As part of the team of four Account Managers, you will be responsible for a share of the 1,000+ events per year across our 22 function rooms and 19 race days.You will need to demonstrate:

  • Enthusiasm and an ability to sell and promote all services that the Ellerslie Event Centre & Auckland Racing Club offer;

  • An ability to meet and exceed sales targets as set by management;

  • Strong administration experience;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • A strong ability to multi-task under pressure;

  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail;

  • Previous experience working in events or the hospitality/service industry;

  • An excellent level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and an understanding of Event Management Systems such as Rendezvous or similar;

  • Professional persona and presentation.
