Wedding FAQs

It's your big day and you put a lot of faith in your venue to help ensure it's everything you dreamed of, and more.


With over 80 years of event experience, we consider ourselves well-versed in all things weddings and today, have provided answers to some of the most common questions we find are asked by our brides and grooms.

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have plenty of free car parking available for you and your guests to take advantage of.


Do your wedding packages include any decorations?

We find that more often than not, brides & grooms want to put their own spin on how their wedding looks, so we do not include decorations in our packages aside from crisp white or black linen tablecloths and napkins.


If you need some ideas or help with theming however, we know a number of talented wedding theme designers who we're happy to put you in touch with.


Can we do our own decorating?

Absolutely! However it pays to note that like most venues, health and safety considerations plus some terms and conditions may apply.



What about entertainment?

You're most welcome to sort your own but we also work with plenty of experienced DJs and live music agencies that can customise an entertainment package to suit your budget and tastes.



Can we hold our ceremony in your gardens or elsewhere on site?

You certainly can. While we have plenty of options, we have two gorgeous spots that we recommend to most bridal parties.


We do charge a small set-up fee of $460 + GST for your ceremony which includes up to 40 chairs.


We also have spaces for your wet weather alternative though these are pending availability and additional charges may apply.


How many people can fit on each table?

Our guest tables each seat up to 10 people. Chat to us about how many people you'd like at the bridal table as it can usually be set as required.



When do we need to pay and what forms of payment do you accept?

A 20% deposit is required in order to secure your booking.


Final payment and confirmed numbers are due ten business days before the wedding date.


We offer a number of payment methods including EFTPOS, credit card, or direct credit.


Is there a discount for children?

Children under 12 receive a 40% discount and children under five are free.



Can we bring our own alcohol?

Unfortunately due to licensing restrictions you cannot bring your own alcohol.

How does the bar work?

We can provide a bar on consumption (where you will be charged for whatever is ordered), a limited bar tab (i.e you pay for the first $XXXX worth of drinks), or a cash bar (where guests pay for their own drinks).



Can we bring our own food?

Generally we don't offer this option however, we can make exceptions for up to two special cultural dishes on request. Just note that a service fee may apply.
